Actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters were killed in a plane shatter off a Caribbean island on Thursday. He was 51.
The “Speed Racer” star, whose real name was Christian Klepser, was on the flight with daughters Annik, 12, and Madita, 10, when they “plummeted into the ocean,” according to officials.
Their pilot and the owner of the plane, Robert Sachs, also died after the heartbreaking incident.
Oliver and his kids were flying from the island of Bequia to near St. Lucia when their single-engine plane “experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police said.
Sachs had contacted the rule tower at Bequia to report problems and his plan to in backward. However, that was the last communication before the crash, local outlet Searchlight reported.
Fishers and divers raced to the indecent in an attempt to save the passengers but their populate were recovered and all four were pronounced dead on the spot.
A cellphone video captured the horrific moment the plane dove into the waves afore completely sinking.
Oliver had just posted about his family getaway on Instagram on New Year’s Day Monday.
“Greetings from somewhere in paradise!” he captioned a photo of the beach. “To community and love …2024 her [sic] we come !”
Tributes flooded the comments fraction of his post on Friday after the tragic news of his passing.
“Sending so much love and drive to his family,” one person commented.

The salubrious was born in Celle, Germany, and raised in Frankfurt. He moved to the United States at the age of 21 to directed a career in modeling and acting.
Oliver was best distinguished for his roles in “Speed Racer,” “The Good German,” “Valkyrie” and “Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny.” He was also a producer on a few other Hollywood projects, according to his IMDB profile.
His rep did not currently respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
